Friday 7th December is our Creating Christmas Day.  Please remember to wear your Christmas jumper and bring a donation for the Christmas Fayre.

Everyone will also need to bring their decorated bauble or small Christmas decoration that they have made at home to decorate our tree.

Thank you to everyone who attended our celebration worship on Friday. It was fantastic to have so many certificates to hand out. Well done to all those pupils who have earned 3 commendation awards or more so far this term and were awarded their merit certificates. We are all very proud of you. Keep up the super learning behaviours and hard work.

    CHILDREN IN NEED

I have been seeing spots all day! Thank you to everyone for raising a massive £123.82 for Children in Need. We are all looking forward to the talent show this afternoon. There have been lots of auditions going on all morning. I hope to see as many of you as possible this afternoon for the talent spotting!

  • Remembrance Service

Fri 09 Nov 2018 Mrs Shaw

A very well done to Hawthorns today for their very moving and memorable Remembrance Service. It was clearly something you have enjoyed putting together over the last week and you were able to create a very emotional service with the perfect blend of music, singing, poetry and information. I know that the many visitors were impressed with your research skills into your ancestors.

Also thank you to the many parents, grandparents and visitors who came to the service and looked at all the children's work in the exhibition. I know many of you were moved to tears when reading some of the letters and diary entries the children had produced.

Thank you to all the teachers and support staff and especially Ms Flefel and Mrs Graham for all the hard work that has gone into planning the service and the exhibition.
