The main entrance to Great Horwood Church of England Combined School is suitable for disabled and wheelchair access and staff are available to offer assistance to visitor and pupils to our school. Some areas of our school are accessible using wheelchairs.
There is one disabled space in the school car park. Please call the school office before coming to school to ensure someone is available to open the vehicle gate for you.
There is one wheelchair accessible adult toilet located in the School Reception area, there is a disabled toilet available for pupils which is currently used by other boys in school.
The school is on multiple levels, ramps and lifts are available to access most areas of the school site.
Pupils on site have a Personal Evacuation Emergency Plan written for them if needed. Visitors on site who think that evacuation may be difficult for them should speak to the headteacher or SENDCO when they enter the site so that arrangements can be put into place.
