Hot school meals at Great Horwood school are supplied by Chartwells.
Parents are able to order meals for their children via Chartwells. Information about how to register is on the leaflet below.
Children in Reception, Year one and Year Two are entitled to Infant Free School Meals. Pupils in Nursery or Key Stage Two are able to order meals. Meals cost £2.40 a day. Your child may be eligible for Free School Meals, if you think this may apply to your child please read the letter in the right hand column or speak in confidence to the office. All meals (including those eligible for free school meals) must be ordered via the Chartwells website.
Completion of this form is optional and only available to parents and carers in particular circumstances, but will enable us to apply for financial assistance with school trips and other items as well as school meals.
Please print, complete, sign and return the following consent forms to the school office. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any concerns or questions regarding these consent forms.
We offer a wide variety of opportunities for children to learn to play musical instruments at Great Horwood School. Lessons take place during the school day and are funded by parents directly. Lessons in the piano or guitar are currently available for children in Key Stage 2.

School is able to administer prescription medication which must be in the original container.
School is occasionally able to administer non-prescription medication, this should be discussed with the headteacher or deputy headteacher before being given to school.
If your child has a long term medical condition or illness then please arrange a meeting with the Headteacher via the school office. It would be useful if you could complete the individual healthcare plan before attending the meeting.
