  • Muddy Feet Friday

Sat 13 Oct 2018 Mrs Shaw

Thank you to everyone who helped to make the Muddy Feet Friday so fantastic!  We even had the wind and the rain to make lighting the campfire a real challenge.

Year 2 made us very proud as they welcomed all the year 2 children from Whaddon CE School for the day to join us in our activities.  Activities included a walk round the village to identify trees and leaves, a campfire with songs, the morning in our conservation area and an afternoon of throwing wellies. The day ended with a celebration worship to share all our Muddy Feet Friday outdoor learning. The children headteacher and parents from Whaddon had a super day and were a credit to their school.

Thank you if you have sponsored your child in the throwing wellies - any money raised will be used to purchase an new chicken enclosure to stop them escaping all the time! I understand Mr McAndrew threw his welly 24m!

Lastly thank you to Mrs Webb and teachers for organising a great day.

  • Morning Foxes Coffee Morning 3rd October 2018

Sat 06 Oct 2018 Mrs Shaw
Thank you to all those children who attend the Morning Foxes for hosting a fantastic coffee morning for parents. I know they all had a great writing writing their invitations and baking biscuits. I know many of the parents expressed how lovely it was to be able to share with the children what they were learning and joining in the activities. Thank you to Morning Foxes, parents and especially Mrs Taylor our Family Liaison Officer for her hard work in organising this event.
  • Grandparents Afternoon Tea 5th October 2018

Sat 06 Oct 2018 Mrs Shaw

Our very first grandparents afternoon tea of poetry and music was a huge success.  Thank you to all of you who attended. The children were very excited to perform their poetry and songs to you. A huge thank you to year 6 for their super job for taking orders and serving refreshments to over 68 parents and grandparents who came. We look forward to repeating this again next year!
