Playgrounds

At Great Horwood we have two playgrounds and a large playing field with an array of physical and intellectual stimulus for all children. 

Top playground provides a wide range of sports equipment to play a range of games, a climbing tower and slide for role play and adventure games. we also have a sandpit and a covered area to enable access to outdoor learning and play in all weathers.

Bottom playground:

The bottom playground provides a large clear area for games and PE lessons.   Our outdoor timber trim trail and traversing wall play area provides a safe play environment which complements our natural surroundings.  Seating is also available here for picnocs and in hot weather a sail shade provides shelter from the heat.
