Welcome to Seedlings Nursery & Pre-School
At Seedlings Nursery & Pre-School, we provide a nurturing and inspiring environment where children can learn, play and grow together. Through exploration, discovery and meaningful experiences, we encourage every child to develop confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.
Seedlings Nursery & Pre-School is based within the beautifully restored Victorian school building at Great Horwood Church of England School.
Originally built in 1861, the building has been thoughtfully renovated to create a bright, welcoming and inspiring environment where young children can thrive.
As one of the few school-based nurseries in the area offering year-round childcare for children aged 2 to 4, Seedlings combines high-quality early years education with strong links to the wider school community.
We believe children learn best when they are curious, engaged and actively involved in their learning.
Our natural curiosity approach creates a calm and nurturing environment where children can explore, discover and investigate through meaningful play experiences.
Using natural materials, loose parts and open-ended resources, we encourage creativity, independence and a sense of wonder in the world around us.
As a school-based nursery, children benefit from regular opportunities to work alongside Reception and take part in wider school activities.
These experiences help children develop confidence and ensure a smooth and successful transition into school life.
