Our 'Home Learning' pictures for the summer term:
We've written down a pancake recipe from dictation, made then, eaten them and concluded whether we think you should have one - or not. Some of the children think it's unwise because they might make you rather overweight. Others, mind you, think they're just too delicious for that to be an issue!
We've been doing some bird watching. Look at the bird feeder we put in the conservation area last week.
These photos show the children's learning at home on our spring term topic - Anglo Saxons, mountains, volcanoes, Monet and much, much more...
More cold weather and we even managed to gather enough snow for a couple of snow balls! We took the opportunity to find a cold place to store them and observe how long it took for them to melt...
It might be cold but it's beautiful outside!
When we went back inside we wrote prayers of thanks to God for our beautiful world - like the 'crunchy frost' and the 'sparkling leaves'.
Look! We made it rain in the staff-room this week.
Ask the children we did and what we discovered.
Look at our amazing Egyptian pyramids. This is work that the children have completed at home as part of their home learning on our topic this term - Ancient Egypt.
